Variety Record Lounge, 24 Public Square, is slated to open in a few weeks as a nod to nostalgia, but also to the woman who operated a record store on the downtown square for 30 years.
Former owner Edna Lentz operated the Variety Record Store from 1965-1995. She closed because “she was ready,” not for lack of business, co-owner Tim Scribner said.
